Earlier this month in Chandler, Arizona, a burglary suspect was captured by police after being caught on a high-definition security camera.
The heist was captured in high-definition by the victim’s home security system as the burglar broke in through a window and left with quite a few possessions.
Citing the high definition security camera, local police said that the clear video expedited the investigation process. Being a security system that had mobile functionality, the victim was able to pull up the video on her mobile device. Local law enforcement then zoomed in on the suspect’s face, took a screen shot, and sent the photo to the police station.
The suspect was recognized by detectives within the police department and he was arrested just nine hours later.
